Benefits of Sponsorship

Contributions to the Red River College's Solar Car will benefit both individual and corporate sponsors.

Corporate sponsors will have their logo affixed to the outside of our solar car and our trailer.  Sponsorship of this dynamic project is an excellent, high profile advertising opportunity for corporations.  Solar car races draw the attention of the news media and public alike.  Working in partnership with the College, corporate sponsors support ongoing research for alternate sources of energy.  We also refer our sponsoring companies to individuals interested in our project.  There are several sponsorship levels available:

• Supporter    Under $1000
• Bronze         $1000 - $4999
• Silver            $5000 - $9999
• Gold              $10000 - $19999
• Platinum      Over $20000
• Primary        Sponsorship donation to be negotiated

Individual sponsors will be supporting the Red River College's largest student research project, in addition to contributing to the quest for alternate forms of power.  Individual sponsors will be notified of Solar Car public appearances and are welcomed to visit the car at any time.  One meaningful way for individuals to sponsor the solar car is to participate in our Adopt-a-Cell program.
